This Privacy Policy describes how SAFE REC ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Recording Data. SAFE REC captures audio and video recordings at your direction. All recordings are stored locally on your device. We do not upload, transmit, or have access to your recordings. Recordings remain under your sole control.
Device Permissions. The app requests access to the microphone, camera, and storage to perform recording and export functions. These permissions are used only for the stated purposes and are not used to collect personal information beyond what is necessary for the app to function.
App Preferences. Settings you choose within the app (such as language, buffer length, storage location, and cover screen theme) are stored locally on your device.
Google AdMob. SAFE REC may display advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect data such as device identifiers and usage information to serve relevant ads. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
Google Play Billing. If you make an in-app purchase (donation), the transaction is processed by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment details. Purchase state is stored locally on your device to disable ads after a successful donation.
Recordings and app data are stored only on your device. You may choose to save recordings to a temporary folder or to the Documents directory. You can delete recordings at any time through the app. We do not maintain servers that store your content.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or recordings with third parties for marketing purposes. Data may be shared only as required by law or to protect our rights and safety.
SAFE REC is not intended for use by children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
We implement reasonable measures to protect data stored on your device. However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for securing your device and any exported files.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy in the app or on our website. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
